Aquabliss Swim School’s new Willowdale location was recently featured on 9News Sydney, spotlighting the opening of the largest aquatic centre in the region. The segment covered the new facility as part of the wider Stockland Willowdale community precinct, highlighting what it means for local families across South-West Sydney.
The Willowdale centre adds to Aquabliss’s growing network of swim schools, offering private pools designed to give kids a calmer, less crowded learning environment than public pools — away from the noise, crowds and distractions that can make early swim lessons stressful for both kids and parents.
The timing lines up with growing concern about swimming ability among Australian children: recent Royal Life Saving Australia research shows many schools now allocate under 8 hours a year to swim education, with some dropping it altogether. Aquabliss says facilities like Willowdale are designed to help close that gap.
