  DEVELOPMENT SQUADS

   
  Snappers

 
The Snappers program is a link between the Learn to Swim program and squads. Freestyle and backstroke techniques are improved over distances of 12.5m to 25m. Butterfly and breaststroke techniques are introduced as well as the correct way to dive (30 minutes).
   
  Seals

 
The Seals squad is designed to provide basic acquisition of swimming strokes in a fun and relaxed environment. An increase in the child's overall swimming fitness will be observed as they are introduced to the basics of training sets while developing all 4 strokes. Starts, turns and finishes are also introduced at this level (45 minutes).
   
  Dolphins

 
The Dolphins squad caters for students who are competent at all four strokes and have developed a reasonable level of fitness. These sessions are designed to refine and develop all strokes as well as building strength and stamina (60 minutes).
   
  Fitness

 
The Fitness squad targets high school students who wish to combine stroke development with fitness training. Developing pacing, set work and race practice for the more advanced level of swimmers is incorporated into their training (75 Minutes).
